Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information LullaMoon (the app and the lullamoon.app website — together, the "Service") collects, how it is used and the choices you have. The Service is operated by LullaMoon ("we"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

The Service is designed for parents and guardians. We collect as little information as possible: no registration is required, no email or password is needed to use the app, and we never request identifying information about your child.

2. Children's Privacy

The app is directed at adults (parents/guardians); children use it under adult supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Child profiles store only an age group, an optional gender and an optional emoji avatar. A date of birth is never requested or stored.

A parent may optionally add a profile name/label to tell profiles apart. This label is optional, is used only inside the app and is never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose. We recommend using a nickname if you prefer.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@lullamoon.app and we will delete it.

3. Information We Collect

Account: an anonymous identifier tied to your device, created automatically on first launch. No email, phone number or password is collected for using the app.

Profiles: age group, optional gender, optional emoji avatar and optional profile label, as entered by the parent.

Story inputs: the details you enter when creating a personalized story (hero name, hero type, setting, lesson, sidekick, tone, interests).

Usage: listening activity, generated-story history, favorites, playlists and app settings, used to operate features and enforce plan limits.

Purchases: subscription status, credit balance and purchase records (product, price, transaction identifiers). Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment card details.

Notifications: if you enable them, a device push token, your notification preferences and your app language.

Support: messages you send through the support form, including the email address you provide and your user ID (attached automatically so we can help you faster).

Website: our website uses Google Analytics with cookies to understand aggregate visitor traffic. The mobile app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information above to: provide and operate the Service (including generating and narrating stories); apply subscription and credit entitlements; keep the Service safe for children (automated and human content moderation); respond to support requests; send only the notifications you opted into; and improve the Service. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we never sell it.

5. AI Processing

Personalized stories are produced with third-party artificial-intelligence services: a text model writes the story from your inputs, a voice-synthesis service narrates it and an image service illustrates it. Only the information needed to produce the content (your story inputs and the resulting text) is sent to these providers; the hero name is never sent to the image service. These providers act as our processors and are not permitted to use your inputs for their own purposes beyond providing the service to us.

AI outputs are automatically screened and reviewed under our content-safety process before appearing in the public story pool.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only to the extent necessary: Apple (App Store payments and notifications), RevenueCat (purchase processing and subscription state), AI providers (story text, narration and illustration), cloud infrastructure and content-delivery providers (hosting, storage and media delivery) and Google Analytics (website traffic only).

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with data brokers, and there is no third-party advertising anywhere in the Service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and integrity of the Service and its users.

7. The Public Story Pool

A copy of a story you generate (including the hero name and the narration) may be published in the public story pool for other users after passing review, as described in the Terms of Use. Please do not enter information in the story form that you would not want to appear in a children's story available to others — you may use any name you like, including a nickname.

8. Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the account-deletion instructions on our website or by writing to support@lullamoon.app with your user ID (shown in the app under Settings → Account details). Stories already published in the public pool may be retained in pool form as described in the Terms of Use.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, media files are served through short-lived signed links or a content-delivery network, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with appropriate technical and organizational measures.

10. International Transfers

Our servers and service providers may process data in countries other than your own (including the European Union and the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@lullamoon.app; including your user ID helps us locate your (otherwise anonymous) account.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the current version takes effect when published on this page, and material changes will be indicated in the app or on the website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
